2016 Bullet269rls doors with hydraulic bar on bottom

On my second trip with my camper and these doors are driving me nuts. Is there any to lock them in position. On a windy day like always in Georgia the doors continue to get blown around. Does anyone have a solution for this or do I just have to keep the door shut.

I don't have a solution, but I notice the same problem on my trailer.

You can easily remove the bars at the clips on either end. If you do this you should install a hold back on the door and TT like some others have. 4 screws in the door and 4 in the latch on the TT.

I did exactly that. It drove me nuts that I couldn't open the door all the way. I removed the strut and installed a door holder in the full open position.

I also dislike the fact that the doors only open halfway, and get shaken by even a small breeze. But, on our 2010 Bullet, we do not have the option to open them all the way and secure, as both awning arms are directly behind a door.

That's the first thing I do when I get home is take those things off and install latches.

I did not think I would like them but so far I don't mind them. Have never noticed them move in the wind but know that I hear it can be an issue it probably will be this year, lol.

The 238ML was the same way. I haven't checked my 2810BHS but I'm thinking I won't be able to make the change on this one either.
