New Baby

I am happy to say goodby to the 00 F150 5.4 and hello to my 08 GMC sierra 2500hd 6.6 duramax/allison. Cant wait to tow with her. But I need to adjust the weight distribution system. Anyone have any good info on this.

If you have a Reese hitch, go to the Reese website. This has a lot of great information on proper set up for your individual hitch. I previously pulled TT and had the Reese dual cam hitch and this site was very useful to me. Keynote: make sure the hitch head bolts are torqued to proper specs. This stops the left to right sway motion. It took me a few pulls to figure this out.
We know how you feel about being anxious to pull with it. We are still waiting for our new trailer after 7 weeks.

Also etrailer.com has some good videos. It will basically give you the basics, You won't even know it's back there till you look in the mirror.

Howdy All;

Dpends on whose hitch you have.

Google the Manufacturer's site and look through to see what they recommend.

Thanks for all the info. Adjusted today. Had to lower the ball several inches. Also found out that the rv dealer had attached the chains to the trunnion bars wrong. After fixing that I think I'm good. No rise or drop in the front and only 3/4 drop in the rear. All looks level from truck bumper to camper bumper.
