GPL Folding Ladder

Anyone have and use one of these?
Looks like a great tool to carry in the understorage. Think I'm going to get one.

I borrowed a friends last fall to clean the top of the slide before pulling it in. I bought one of my own now.

I have the 7 foot double side GPL and use it to clean off my slide roof before retracting the slide. I stow it in a 5 x 5 vinyl fence post tube mounted under the rear of my trailer. Always there if and when I may need it.

Lowe's has the same GPL folding step ladders at a "better price" than Amazon. I've never seen them in Lowe's, and the website says they are "special order". http://www.lowes.com/Search=gpl+ladd...tt=gpl+ladder#!

GPL makes two "versions" of the folding step ladder, a "double sided" version with steps on both vertical sections and a "single sided" version with steps only on one vertical side. Make sure you're comparing apples to apples when you do your cost comparisons...

I haven't bought one yet, I keep looking at Lowe's in different parts of the country, thinking I'd be able to just pick one up, but to date, I've never seen one "on the shelf" at Lowe's... I did use one 2 years ago and have wanted one since then, but just haven't been "that motivated" yet... Someday !!! LOL

We purchased a brand called Telesteps last year at an RV show. Very sturdy and safe. We carry it in the trailer and have used it multiple times both for the trailer and around our home.

I have the double sided GPL 7' ladder and really like it. It's a very easy one man ladder, super easy setup, lightweight, folds to "little bitty" (still 7' long) and I just put it in the pass through - takes up next to nothing in space. I bought mine at Camping World.

It's great for cleaning the tops of slides whether with a blower or something else. When it's been wet and there are leaves I just use an extend a pole with a stiff brush on the end and push the debris off one end. The slides are 12-14' long so it takes a pretty long pole.
