Remote Camera Question

I've been watching our local sales flyers for security cameras for months now. I would like to place a camera on my seasonal site to view the site remotely when we are not there. I don't have concerns about security as much as I would love to view the wildlife that visits my site when I'm not there. I've found bear tracks, but I've never seen the bear. Is there a way to accomplish having a remote wireless camera using the campground's WiFi?
Thanks in advance..

They do sell WiFi trail cams at most sporting goods stores.

You may need to get a wireless bridge, then if you go standard security dvr route, most are now networkable, and you should be able to plug it into the bridge to get it on the campground wireless. Then depending on how they do their remote connection, you could do it.

You could get the D-link cameras that are cloud enabled so you don't have to open specific ports on the campground router, plus you can pan and tilt. They're about $150 for the HD model. I use these in conjunction with the dlink network dvr.

Lots of options, but I'd either use a trail am or use cloud based cameras like the D-link.

I think the cloud based ones would be your best bet. I would do a little research on them though, as I would be concerned someone else could "find" them, and use them to determine when and when not you are there. Of course that is the overly protective part of me lol.

We have a system at home with a DVR, but I don't think such a system would work correctly on a campgrounds wireless, even with a bridge and good signal. Reason is the "software" included is kind of rudimentary, and if you don't know how to set it up right, every time the router reboots or something else happens, and the address changes, your connection to it goes away.

Of course at home I have complete access, so this isn't an issue.
