Interior AM/FM Antennas

Do any of you use a hidden inside AM/FM antenna ?
Our Raptor-33 lacks a root-top aerial courtesy a previous owner (mount gone and hole sealed). Considering the 13'9" height, I expect a replacement might be short-lived due to low overhangs.

Tune-Trapper seems to have good reviews but there are certainly other choices and I'd surely appreciate any insights.

If you remove your am-fm-cd player you will probably find the antenna wire bundled up with all the other excess wiring. I removed mine and ran it up the inside of the adjacent cabinet as high as I could get it and that solved all of my reception problems. Works great now and easy to do...try it.

Check your height. Because DOT has a height limit if I'm not mistaken that's 13'6". Max with out permit. Be careful if you are over. The camper must have been raised by other owner. I dont know much about antennas but eBay/amazon has tons of hidden antennas cheap. I'm about to put one on my cart.

Looks like that is top of my whip antenna, about 4" above the Raptor's AC at 13' 2"

We had the ame thing wire behind unit. Tried a di-pole ant. still wasn't happy. I added a side wall mounted exterior ant. with a spring base mounted so ant is approx 6" above roof. Now I'm happy with it.
