Yellowstone

Spent 3 nights at the Grizzly RV Park in West Yellowstone, MT.
This is a beautiful park with clean, wide sites. Nice park area with playground equipment for the grandkids. Nice, well stocked store. They sold quality field glasses and even had frozen Buffalo Burgers. Clean laundry rooms although the driers could have been faster. Staff was friendly and helpful - acted like they actually liked working there. Busy park though - definitely make advance reservations! Best thing, we were 1/2 mile from the west entrance.

We enjoyed staying there too. The only thing that would make it better is if it had a pool. The KOA has a pool but the park is not nearly as nice.

We stayed there too about 2 1/2 years ago. Loved the park. Nice people and great access to the park from the west entrance.

We stayed there last May for about a week and loved it. The people were really friendly and helpful and we loved that it was close to the park entrance and was within walking distance to do things in town.

Here is a pic of our site.
Of course the week we stayed it snowed almost every day. The night before we left to head to our next stop they got 6 inches of snow. Made it fun for getting ready to leave. Had to clean off the slide roof just to get the slide in.

Go to their website. They have lots of pictures there. An other perk of staying there is that it is close to an animal refuge. You can wake up the the wolves just a howling early in the morning. My daughter (24) thought this was really cool.

We've stayed at the KOA and Grizzly. Grizzly is right in town and near the Park Entrance. Very convenient. Paved roads and sites. Were there in May and still lots of snow around.
KOA is a great spot for the kids- especially at the end of the day.
Both are expensive.
Good luck,

Thumbs up Grizzly RV Camp

We stayed here for 4 nights during the last week in July and found it to be a great base camp to explore Yellowstone park and also walking distance to the main street and attractons in West Yellowstone.

We would definitely return and recommend this park for anyone looking for a full service park.

Cheers and happy camping....
