Took the plunge and did solar, inverter, etc

400ah li batteries
800w solar
3k inverter
Auto gen start
Lcd control panel and bt to phone
All victron components except the batteries

All in a cabinet in the garage (except the panels of course)….cabinet is 12” deep so wont obstruck any but the wifest utv’s

Everything installed except waiting for 2 cables to finish connections!

Wasnt cheap but full trailer inverter, lots of batt capacity and solar recharge is worth it! Have room for more panels so well see if i add a few more….guessing current can give me a full recharge on a good day.

Also put a second cabinet in garage for storage and a toolbox on front bumper for more….very happy w setup!

Do you have any pictures? I would love to see the cabinet.

How did you run the battery cables to the front? Underneath?

I don't understand the statement without pictures? Should we say "woohoo", not knowing how it looks"
Best finish up your post with pictures! TY

We just got back from a boondocking week, living on one 100ah LiFEPo4…it is a game changer (even though I hate that phrase)…turns the trailer into an iPhone…I estimate the two batteries I purchased, during the summer (low furnace use) would allow the trailer to go 4 days without charging. Battery at 20%? 80%? 47%? Doesn’t matter…lights are bright, TV/Sat is available, slides move snappy.

We have a 150 watt portable cell that we use to top off the battery or other portable stuff (CPAP battery) and use the Genset to do the bulk recharging…overnight drainage takes about an hour to bring back up to full.

SUCH a much better experience than the first year with the 12 lead acid and the second year with the two 6v golf cart batteries.
