Not piling on but I agree with Chuck. It's all about the communication. If you don't tell the person your dealing with that something specific needs to be done then they aren't going to take it upon themselves to change anything not directly related to what they are doing. If you take your truck into the shop you don't expect to get it back with the seats, mirrors, and heat setting all readjusted.
Thank you for making folks aware of this as so many people think the dealer should take it upon themselves to turn the battery disconnect off or on unless it's necessary for doing the work. If they turn it on or off then I would expect them to restore it to the setting they found it in. If they changed it and left it then I would be jumping all over them. Sounds like the lesson to learned is to check on the work when you receive it. People make mistakes and no one should mind showing you, or explaining what they did when you pick up your unit from the shop.
