Battery/converter issues

I am having some issues with the system in my '06 Keystone Springdale. The battery is constantly reading an undervolt, the water heater, furnace, lights, and refrigerator will not function. However, my wall-based electronics, like my TV and PC, are working perfectly fine.
I am thinking that the converter is going on my trailer. Does this sound about right?

Welcome to the forum

Your TV and PC are 110VAC appliances. Your lights, furnace and fridge controls are 12VDC appliances.

Your converter will take 110VAC and produce 12VDC to power the 12V appliances and charge the battery.

You need to locate the converter and using a Volt/Ohm meter, determine the output. There is also 2 fuses located on the back side of the converter or off to the left of the row of 12V fuses, called reverse polarity fuses. If you changed your battery and hooked it up backwards for even an instant those fuses will blow.

Check things out and post back.

Are you familiar with a VOM? Chuck mentioned reading the output from the converter and you will have to use a VOM to do that accurately.

When is the last time you maintained your batteries? How old are they (it)? It's possible you've fried your battery in addition to the other things Chuck mentioned.

If the batteries are 5 +/- years old it's probably time for replacements.
Be sure the replacement are true deep cycle batteries. If they have CCA, CA or MCA listed they are hybrid batteries better suited for cranking engines rather than the constant drain/charge cycles in a rv.
Also the electrolytes in the cells must be checked on a regular basis & topped off with distilled water.
Another tip is for storage. It's best to disconnect the batteries, typically remove the ground cable from the battery going directly to ground or remove them to your garage & keep them on a battery tender. If left in the rv connected they'll be dead in as little as a week due parasitic drains on them.
