2018 Cougar landing leg switch

Hello
I have a 2018 Cougar25RES 5'er
front jacks stopped working with switch on rig but still work with remote ...
any Ideas where to start to trouble shoot as i see switch is sealed ..

Sealed or not, sometimes a switch goes bad. You could pull switch out and "touch" wires quickly to see if landing gear moves.

I would probably get a new switch - they're cheap enough and 98% likely that is your issue. A short would probably blow fuse and wouldn't work with remote.

thanks yes sealed means wires go thru wall into underbelly ....have to trace them back to jacks or control panel but its a start

I'm not sure what system you have but I've read some systems that when a remote is used to operate a light, or slide, etc. that remote has to be used to return it to it's previous state before the manual switches will work. I think it's a safety lock out feature to prevent the manual switch from being used while the remote is in use.

I've also read about the relays on the remote control board sticking. I'm someone with more knowledge will chime in but until then perhaps searching the forum will help.
