Antenna recall replacement
Has anyone had their Furrion wing style antenna replaced with the Wingard dome style antenna on Keystones recall #20-381? If so what is your opinion of the Wingard worse or better, or should we go with something different? Just wondering because Keystone usually doesn't go overboard or above and beyond on anything they do, especially when they're footing the bill. Thanks looking forward to all opinions.

My new Avalanche is equipped with the antenna you're asking about, it's not bad for a non-directional but wouldn't have been my first choice given the opportunity.

Having PDI’d a bunch of units with the wineguard dome style, I find it comparable To most any Omni directional antenna.

Thanks that sounds good, anything is probably better than the self ejecting Furrion bat wing (on 2nd one, just waiting for lift off)

Wait!!! That batwing thing is for the radio/tv??? I thought it was an airfoil type thing to make the trailer lighter...

No, that’s what nitrogen filled tires are for

I wonder what helium filled tires would do for these rigs? Would we have to add weight to keep them on the road?

If I put a reversed spoiler on the top it would create lift and take weight off. Then a 3/4 diesel might not be overloaded. LOL

Well it probably makes a better spoiler than an antenna!
