Tv/stereo

I have 2018 passport 175bh with Sceptre 23 inch an d furrion dv7100 stereo. They are connected but I can not get the tv to play through the stereo speakers. The TV speakers are poor.

Having said that as a second question - has anyone upgraded their speakers inside and or out?

Did you tune the DV7100 to AV in?

Not sure if a/v in - is different than choosing a/v as source. But yes. I tried all sources

JP,
If your 18 is like my 17, it didn't come wired for TV out to A/V in from keystone. The easiest way to accomplish this (if your TV has a headphone out jack) is to use one of these, and run it to the A/V in of the 7100.

This is what we did, but ours came with no TV, we added two ourselves. Just a few bucks for the cable and a few seconds to plug in and it works great. It seems like an RV that comes with TV installed should have the wiring in place
but I have only seen that on the higher priced units.

Ours is a Visio TV and Jensen stereo head. The TV audio is wired to the Aux input on the stereo and plays when that input is selected. I replaced all the living area speakers (4) with Kenwood speakers. HUGE improvement in audio quality.

The TV should have one HDMI input marked ARC - which stands for Audio Return Channel. When using this input on the TV, the TV audio is sent back to the stereo amplifier so you can hear it in the speakers.

Perhaps they connected the HDMI cable from the Furrion stereo to the wrong input on the TV?
