Stiff grey valves
Mine were getting to the point of requiring "lots" of pressure to open/close. I had read on another forum about someone using vegetable oil to lube them up. Today I poured about 1/2 gal into each empty grey tank with the valves closed. I slightly opened and closed each valve a number of times. It worked wonders on the bathroom tank and the kitchen is a lot better. We are setup in a Florida park for the winter and the greys stay open except when I dump black. I'm assuming this didn't/doesn't help the valve lubrication. Will be interested to see how long this lasts - will advise.
Btw - I kept the used oil for proper disposal - not into the park's system.
