How large can I go with a TV for the bedroom?

We just bought a Laredo 322RL and I plan to mount a TV in the bedroom using a wall mount. I've found the reinforced area behind the wall and even that doesn't feel real sturdy. I would like to mount a 32" flat screen that weighs about 16lbs. Would that be too heavy? I think I would feel better if I could hit a stud. Any thoughts?

If there is a mount tv here sticker then you should be good, if not find the stud and screw in there. If you find a slide together type mount then you can place the tv on the bed during travel and quickly hang on wall when you are setting up.

WE put a 32inch in our bedroom that weighs 11lbs in out wall mount and have no problems other than it sticks out a little bit past the door frame. We also take it down everytime we travel.

I decided on a 32" TV. I searched for the thinnest and lightest unit I could find. I found a Vizio smart TV that was only 2" thick. And it connects to wifi and will pick up my Amazon Prime instant video. All set now. Thanks for the replies.

Your pictures look good. Which Vizio model and what wall mount brand? In the market to do the same. Did you find a wooden stud? I've got the shower behind the wall. How long were the screws you used? Thanks.
