Lights Dimming

Got a question. My lights will dim for a little while,maybe 20 seconds and then brighten back up. May stay bright for 20 minutes then dim again. Any ideas as to where I need to look for a problem?--Smitty
P.S. It affects nothing running off 110.

First place I'd look would be the battery, a low or bad/shorted battery will make the lights do that as the charger in the converter cycles. If the battery checks good under a load, I'd then test the converter.

Disconnect the battery and take it up to the AutoZone, or other parts house and they should be able to check it.
