Blade vents

Do the new Blade vents on my ac system come apart. I saw on the video that the guy seems to just snap it back together. I’m thinking one or two flat screwdriver and wiggle wiggle.

You can just pull them out by hand. IMO they suck. I replaced the bedroom and the ones I can reach in the living room with the old style fixed louvers.

Blade bents

Thanks. Not wild about this system in my Outback 330Rl. Seems the ac’s run in random, not really two true separate zones. I’ve used painters tape to close of the bathroom vent, and 3 vents in the bedroom to try and force more air into the main coach area. Doesn’t help that the living area gets 5 hrs sun. Keystone said no harm in blocking ducts. Thanks for getting back to me!

I have little or no air coming from my blade vents all of my cold air is coming from the cold air return. That doesn't seem right to me. Any suggestions? Thanks

Your ceiling assembly is backwards.

The ceiling unit - or in this case plenum - is held on by the four external screws (one in each corner). Remove the intake grill which is held in place by two black plastic captive screws, then remove the filter. Remove the four external screws in the plastic cover mentioned earlier and lower it from the ceiling. You'll be able to see up into the squirrel cage fan - that is your air out to the vents - needs to be closed off from the filter. The other side, where you can see all the wiring is the air intake. That side needs to be open to the filter.

I did, got louvered ones that also spin 360. Talk about an over engineered system. Now for the first time I at least get a resemblance of balance between the living area and the bedroom
