I wanted a light to illuminate the steps on those dark nights stumbling back from the campfire.
I did not want to tear into walls to run wiring and a switch, etc so I kind of took an easy way out, but I am happy with the result. I ran the wire behind the metal siding into the plastic vent behind the refrigerator. Grabbed 12 volt power from the back of the fridge. The LED won't draw enough to hurt that circuit.
