Anyone know how I can get my TV audio to go thru my stereo speakers?

If you can figure out let me know. I'm about ready to pull the unit and see how it is hooked up.

If your TV has "Audio Out" jacks, and your Stereo has an "Auxiliary In" connection, you can buy the patch cord at anyplace that sells stereos. Maybe even Walmart?

Set the TV to external speakers, and the radio to Aux. You may have to fiddle with the two volume controls.

I assumed that it was already hooked up to the stereo. I mean, the TV already has the basic red, white, yellow, a/v cable leaving the TV and entering the wall of my RV. I thought it was going down to my equalizer. i don't know, i hate electronics. lol

The red, white and yellow "patch cable" is connected to your TV and DVD player. It provides video and sound to the TV when you play a DVD movie.

There is no connection (in most situations) to output the TV sound to the stereo. To do that, as stated above, the easiest way is to use your "sound out" TV jacks and connect them to your "AUX IN" on the back of your stereo, play with the TV sound output volume and the stereo volume to adjust to your preference.

I would save yourself the headaches and buy a soundbar with the base box.

Not saying it is, not saying it isn't, but our TV in our Laredo was wired to the stereo for sound from day one. Just had to figure out what input to switch to on the stereo and turn it up a bit.

They didn't bother going the other direction in fact... DVD audio just comes out of the stereo also. The TV is just a video monitor.

I had issues with mine as well. I pulled the stereo and found a loose connection, not the TV and movies play through my speakers.

Mine didn't work directly off of the lot. During PDI, I was told that the TV couldn't play through the stereo. A couple of weeks later, I took the stereo out and ran RCA cables to it.

Were you able to plug it directly into the back of the stereo?

My 2016 X-Lite TV didn't work through the speakers in the PDI either. There was a spare RCA cable laying somewhere and sure enough, it just wasn't plugged in from TV out --> AUX IN on the back of the stereo unit. It's very easy to pop the trim cover off and then the unit comes out with 4 screws.

If you tell us what trailer and stereo you have and it will be easier for us to help.

Our unit didn't work and we pulled the unit out and found the wiring wrong in the back. Easy fix but sad that it had to be.

Yes, just like a normal stereo. The button labeled AUX on front is the input.

Just went thru my rig, chasing down another issue and i'm nosey.
Have TV, sound bar w/sub, DVD player and stereo deck.
Stereo front and back speakers go out thru switches to outside and garage. Aux out goes to sound bar via rca patch cable.
DVD has hdmi to tv.
TV has optical to sound bar.

TV can play thru sound bar ( when on shore power)
Stereo can play O/S or garage on battery.
Stereo can play living area thru sound bar (when on shore power).
TV cannot play thru stereo system.

Wink Fuzion Setup

My unit came with a sound bar that has options to use it for the TV, DVD, or radio in my 2016 Fuzion F420. The sound bar has it's own volume control as does the radio. The sound bar uses the AUX setting for the radio, the TV uses D. MI, and the DVD is DVD I think (haven't used that yet).

There are separate switches for the garage speakers as well as the outside, side patio deck. Hope this helps.

Between Hobby and Ellington, I-45 and Beltway south.
Sorry to hear about the flooding, we were fortunate, didnt really hit us bad, pretty much just skirted the outer edge of the storms.
