What does the tire actually say?

One fact about some LR-G tires. They seem to be "fluid" with the tire markings and ratings. Despite the fact that tires are supposed to be of a specific size, Load Range and type as published in industry guidelines.
In a case, I saw THIS WEEK.
Two tires with the same name made at two different tire plants. Both were marked ST235/85R16 LR-G and "14 ply"
BUT one said 3750# @ 110 psi and the other said 4040# @ 110 psi.
There were also two different sets of load Index numbers

It is also true that some internet tire dealers don't have a clue about what the tire sidewall actually say.

So, I'm ready to go shopping but after the exhaustive reading of this and similar posts I just can't find a consensus on what to buy.

Coke or Pepsi? And throw Dr Pepper in there to.
Plain or peanut M & M's? And throw in Reese's Pieces.
Bud Lite or Miller Lite? And throw in ______ fill in the blank.
Mounds or Almond Joy? I'm guessing Almond Joy as they have nuts!

Sailuns are the way to go. They are based off of semi trailer tires.

Sailun, Carlisle, Maxxis & from recent reviews, yet unproven, GY Endurance, also being the most expensive.
