Drapes Pulled During Storage

I have outdoor storage in Minnesota probably 9 months a year. From a sun fading standpoint, especially the reclining chairs, do you recommend that the shades be pulled or not during storage. Thanks for your opinions in advance. 🖖

personally we keep the black out shades down when in storage. The blinds will fade in our southern environment, but that is better then the weird pattern of fade we get on all the other surfaces, including upholstery and floors.

That’s a good idea. Sun fading of the shades shouldn’t be a problem, I wouldn’t think. Thanks!

We keep our shades down always in storage, we even keep them down when the sun would shine directly in during use. If shaded or on other side of camper we put them up but thats it. That sun is a killer to everything! Dries out wood, upholstery and everything.

Didn’t think about the drying out. Appreciate your insights. 😀
