Yes..... the first generation was called Fletcher-coat, after the manufacture, however, the coating is damaged when threaded by die and vice marks that require a field dressed application of 20mil tape so no unprotected pipe won't rust.

It was a pain to work with in larger diameters that you had to use with natural gas as it was delivered at less PSI, as opposed to LPG.

We know have a corrugated stainless pipe that comes in coils, it has a rubber type protective sleeve, coating, and the ends have a special made fitting to convert back to IPS.

We use lots of it here on the island, above grade.

I coat mine every year with rust corrosion inhibitor spray or oil. Same with the underside of the frame.

Let it rust, that pipe will still be solid enough to hold 11"WC of LPG long after the rest of your RV has turned to dust.
