New guy here

Just checking in. We live in upstate SC. Bought a 2023 Avalanche 390DS which is my first camper but I've owned 3 MH before. Finally used it over Thanksgiving at a close to home Camp Ground to see what we needed and didn't have and to try it out. Next trip is after Christmas going to the beach for a week.

Welcome to the forums. We've done some camping over the years in South Carolina, but much more in North Carolina. You've got some great opportunities there. Just remember, folks come from all over the world to visit your State Parks and sites. So there must be some really great attraction for them to come! Have fun re-discovering the greatness of your own state with your new camper! Happy Camping!

Welcome from Southside Virginia. My wife's family lives near Greenville. We go down to the Santee area a couple times a year. Have fun!

I see you have air suspension. I am thinking about installing air spring bags on my Chevy 1500. Does it make a difference in ride and control? Thanks

Welcome to the forum

Air bags can change the ride but they CANT increase your cargo carrying capacity. If your at or over the weight carrying capacity now, air bags may well put you over.

As already stated they won’t increase the towing capacity of your truck. But they stop bounce and sagging. Roads are so bad in many areas I think they help when towing.
