The only thing about Buc-ees worth stopping for in my opinion is the bathrooms and coffee bar. I've always heard about how good their food is and I have tried different things on a couple of different occasions only to find it inedible. I use truck stops for diesel. But the bathrooms get a A+.

I will stop and get munchies, lunch and use restroom but never try to get fuel there. I use my Open Roads card at the truck stops for fuel. Much faster to fuel up and get back on the road. If Buc-ees is real busy I just pass and go on down the road. Not a place I really look for but occasionally might stop at one. They are just not real RV friendly and I need at least two parking places to park my rig, so I usually have to park far out in the lot and hike in. As far as spending time there to rest, I think there are better places than Buc-ees.

Just another tourist trap, but a little classier than most. Clean bathrooms, good food and lots of fuel pumps. Diesel prices are OK, but nothing special. But for me, just waaaaay too crowded. With my 30' travel trailer and 23' F250, I try to stick with Open Roads locations especially ones built for larger vehicles.with lower fuel prices and less pricier food, I try to save a few bucks; plus no crowds, noisy and rude people and germy little tricycle motors handling everything in sight. Yep...another curmudgeon.

Hey! my brother, it is what it is. Harsh you say? Maybe to you, but just the realities of everyday living to me.

Rarely pass up a Buccees. Never had a major problem getting to a diesel pump or parking. I usually park next to the curb on the perimeter or behind the store after fueling.
I’ll do anything to avoid a truck stop.
