Water Pump Replacement

The top of my water pump was leaking so I just replaced the top. Went to try it out and it would not run. checked the power to it....ok. The pump was getting hot. I tapped the pump motor a few times nothing. Any ideas???

Sounds like you may have bound the pump.

It seems the adjustment on the check valve the pressure check valve was incorrect and then the valve was sticking a little bit after a little bit of tapping and use it's working fine
