RV Antenna
Hi!
I am a new member and need help finding a replacement RV antenna. I have a 2020 Springdale-W 280BHWE and covered my trailer a few weeks ago and noticed that my antenna is no longer there. I need a replacement and contacted my dealer and they had no idea what was on there before. This is my second trailer so I am not 100% sure what was up there either. Anybody know or where I could find a picture?
Thanks in advance!!

Is there anything left that you could post a picture of? I can think of two possibilities; one would be a “bat wing” antenna that was recalled due to its habit of flying off trailers as they moved down the road and the other would be the “flying saucer” type that tended to wobble and also disappear on occasion. Two different types and styles of bases so what is left or its footprint on the roof will tell the tale.

thanks so much. I guess I will have to wait until next year to get a picture. My trailer is covered now for winter. Thank you so much for your response. I figured it was either of those as well. Both don't sound good due to them flying off during travel. Do you know if there are any other options that would be better at not flying off?

For models affected by the batwing recall, Keystone specified the Winegard Air360+. This is what comes on most every new RV and tends to be the go-to for those that want to replace or upgrade an existing antenna. Under the dome It has an omnidirectional tv/radio antenna, a cellular antenna and a wifi antenna.

Welcome from northern MN. No way to tell what antenna you have without a picture of what's left.

Welcome to the forums and sorry to hear about your antenna loss. My Montana High Country came originally with a Rayzor antenna. It kept getting caught in low hanging branches and would break the shaft that connects the turn handle from the inside roof of the camper. After 2 breaks and replacing 2 complete antennas, I finally switched to the Wingard 360+ and I've had no more issues since. I did not connect the WIFI part, only the over-the-air antenna. With my booster inside the camper, television reception is remarkable fabulous. At home in my drive way, I can get about 95 stations. Granted, some of them are repeats ... like ABC, but one may come from Indianapolis, and another may come from Cincinnati, Ohio. I may get a channel 13.1 / 13.2 / 13.3 and then get a repeat 13.1 / 13.2 / 13.3. But the two sets of channel 13 come from two different cities and are completely different broadcast stations. Still, it's remarkable.
When camping, we always get some kind of station, more than enough to get local stations. (We use Visible for our internet and streaming television service).

What booster are you using? I have that standard Keystone setup but would like to add a booster unless I have one and don't know it.

The booster in my Montana is the standard booster that was installed in campers for many, many years. It's built into the plug where the coax cable attaches from the television and has a little button to turn the booster on or off. When it's on, there's a little green light that turns on. They are usually located in the living room area where the television is installed.
If you have the Key TV system, you probably do not have a booster as it's built into the Key TV system.

The booster is actually inside the antenna itself and is activated by the small button on a switch plate inside the camper.

If you have the KeyTv box, the booster is part of that. No button to push.
