New Camper/Member from VA

After years and years of shopping, deciding, and tent camping we finally pulled the trigger on a camper. Just bought a 2021 Keystone Outback 328RL and will be pulling it with my 2020 GMC 2500.

Completely new to campers but super excited to ditch the tent for something more comfortable!

If anyone is camping in or around Southwestern VA hit me up and we might be able to grab a beer by the campfire.

Welcome to the forum! Lots of good, knowledgeable folks here so fire away with any questions when they arise....and they will. You will find, as I did, that "ditching the tent" is a wonderful thing and you will definitely be much more comfortable. Happy camping.

Thank you, and I certainly will be asking questions! I’m a complete noob here so I’m looking for as much advice as I can get!

Hello and welcome aboard!

Looks like you have a very nice setup there, and we can certainly understand how much nice it is to leave the tent camping behind!

Enjoy your travels and stay safe!

Welcome to the forums. Our previous camper was an Outback (35 footer). It was a great trailer. Loved the floor plan, but one day made the mistake of stepping into a front living room fifth wheel, and .... well .... we're now fifth wheel owners.

Anyway, welcome. I'm on my 3rd Keystone camper now, so I keep hanging around on this forum for some great general knowledge about Keystone products. However, when I had my Outback, I also joined:

Outbackers.com, a forum specific for Outback owners. Between the two you'll have a lot of stuff to read. Check out that forum group too. Everything specifically Outback related there. (Birds of a feather.... you know).

Enjoy your new camper! See you on the road!

Welcome fellow Virginian! Folks here have been a big help to me as I learn my way around. Check out the KOA in Fancy Gap, nice place to get away.

New too

We’re new, too in SATX. Hitting up the hill country this weekend for our first trip. Had and remodeled an old Airstream. This is a big change.
