2019 Keystone Cougar - PSA
Hi all, I want to share an issue that I just had with my Keystone cougar 27SAB.
I’m not bashing Keystone I just want to war other people so I could possibly avoid what happened to us.
I traded in our Cougar yesterday. They found water damage I'm two places.
One was in the front storage area. I think hose water leaked under the vynil and got in the floor decking. Ended up with a mold spot on the bedroom floor.
That one's on me. Becare not getting water in your storage.
The second place confuses me, the corner of the slide floor completely rotted out underneath.
The other side of the same slide is ok, but I imagine damaged too.
I have absolutely no idea how water could’ve possibly gotten in there.
This unit is only 2 years old.
Very frustrating ended up costing me two grand on my trade, not the end of the world we got our new camper.
Just warning others to check their slide flooring and make sure they don’t get water in the front storage.
If you catch it earlier that I did it so much easier fix it could save you money.
We did like that camper a lot but it was just too small for us.
