The culprit, they cut this too short during assembly! Why not cover the edges? The new roof will be for sure!

Finishing gluing the darco on the top of the new floor. Used contact cement, used card board to separate and rolled darco as cardboard was slowly pulled out.

Added slide skis to outer edges, this should minimize friction on the wear bar and provide a drip rail to minimize water wicking thru the darco.

That was a huge and daunting task. Looks like you did an exceptional job on the repairs. Thanks for sharing and hope you were able to use one piece for the wear bar; I'm afraid 2 will be problematic as you noted.

I'm dreading just doing something about my collapsed wear bar.
Did you end up adding rollers? If so, where did you get them?
Did you use one piece for your wear bar?
