Question Refrigerator freezing food

The Dometic DM2652 in my 2009 Springdale is doing too good a job keeping things cold. I've checked the thermistor resistance and it is functioning normally. I've changed its position in the refrigerator with no improvement.
Short of replacing the control board, does anyone have other suggestions?
Thanks

Have you checked the fuses on your control board? They are located behind a black plastic panel in the outside compartment. If I remember the post correctly, the refer will go into a full time cooling mode (no cycling) if the control board is not working.

Refrigerator freezing food

If the 12V fuse is blown, the refer won't power up. If the 110V fuse is blown the heating element won't work.

Part of testing procedures include jumpering the thermistor connections, forcing a "full steam ahead" to test the cooling unit.

I would change the thermistor and see what happens.

Well, tonight the "Auto" light on the front control panel went dark. I've cycled the power/gas switch a few times and each time the "check" light flickers briefly then stays off. Still thinking it's the thermistor?

Not really, I'm leaning towards the board.

I ordered a replacement board over the weekend and it arrived today. I'll be installing it tonight. I'll post an update tomorrow.

Has anyone tried one of these in lieu of the thermistor?

Rick
I have one on order. I'll post results after I fix the bigger (maybe?) issue with the refrigerator.

So, I replaced the control board outside last night with no improvement in the situation. I'm printing out the service manual and going into deep troubleshoot mode..... more to follow.

I've completed as much of the troubleshooting as time/daylight permitted and so far here are the anomalies:
1. Voltage at DC terminals: 29.0 AC with only trailer interior lights as the 12v load, this drops to 0.0 when I turn on the stove exhaust fan. (so is there a problem with the converter?)
2. Thermistor resistance: 1680 ohms at water temperature of 100 F, 5300 ohms at water temp of 46.
I have not yet installed the "Snip the Tip".....
The "eyebrow" panel on the refrigerator is still not showing anything (no check light, no auto light).
Suggestions anyone......

29VAC at the DC terminals? Shouldn't have more than 13.4 if your plugged in, batteries charged, and converter working properly.

Find your converter and test the output. Two large cables, unplugged you should see battery voltage. Plugged in you should see 13.x all DC readings. There should be a connector on the board that supplies 12VDC to the eyebrow, have you checked that? If you are in fact seeing 29VAC you might be burning stuff out.

The "Snip The Tip" arrived today (lost in worksite mail system).
This was installed as well as a new control board from Dinosaur Electronic.
And drum roll please....
Success.
