Lippert controller and panel

I got me a dozy here. My little remote that controls the slides, awning and stabilizers broke on me. The dealership was kind of enough to replace it and gave me the instructions to program it. The instructions are a little vague on what features I need to program in it, and what order they should be profaned in. Also, what fuses should be assigned to each feature. I have tryed programming, but when I use the controller, the feature doesn't work or another feature activates. I don't want to mess around to much(guess and test method), for fear of blowing fuses or damaging the controller. I post a couple pics of what I've done so far.

I used a drawing found on google - on (I think ) a Lippert website using
"Lippert remote programing " "on a Cougar H/C - one of the many recomendations came on a "Heartland" website.

I can't seem to copy it on here - but - fast explanation - there is a "reset button" on the Brain (as Lippert calls it) it is in the front - battery, landing gear,
compartment of my 5er.

The brain will wipe out former programs. My remote has 7 settings - but two do not control anything. The seven settings will allow you to program device operation (slides - awning - etc)

I went through a step by step - trial & error method

First I identified a working program - and identifed it (for instance -program one SAID it controlled the awning - BUT actually ran the rr landing gear - so I changed that to corrospond - I then wnt thru the other programs the same way.

Worked like a charm and I wrote a list of what was what - in case of future problems.

If you can find the correct google entry I think it will help you.

GOOD LUCK

I think i understand now. Each function on the control pad is addressed to the output wires on the control board.
What i don't understand, is why I have assighn fuses too

I don't think you should need to assign fuses.. but I've been wrong before.. Here are the books for that remote system including the programing of the remote.
