Just installed a Husky 4500 tonight. Bought it on Amazon for $182.20. Wireless remote and all. Super easy to install, took less than an hour. Seems to work great so far.

Here it is: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=ATVPDKIKX0DER

If you notice the "shipping time" Although it's an AMAZON PRIME product and ships "two day delivery" It is a "special order item" and can take 2-5 weeks to arrive at Amazon "for shipping". So, if you need it "yesterday" you may not get it in time.

More and more "Prime" stuff is becoming "2 days after processing". Kind of frustrating.

I love my 4500 brute. I got mine for $150 from Amazon in November. That was for the non remote version, but that does not bother me any. You will be very happy with it one you get it.

brute

I have read some talk about rotating the jack 90 degrees to allow the tailgate to open. I looked at this, there are 3 bolt holes drilled in the round base plate. 360 / 3= 120.
I would have to drill 3 more holes in the base plate to allow a 90 degree rotation.
Any thoughts?

I drilled the 3 new holes in my tongue to rotate the jack on my outback with no problems. I put 3/8" bolts with lock washers (and locktite just for giggles) to keep everything nice and tight. So far no problems and my tailgate opens even with the trailer at a slight angle...
