Cleaning shower

My shower smells like gym socks. When I go to the supermarket, I see all these bathroom cleaners, but it is not obvious which ones are for a plastic shower. Also, there are mildew killers, but I don't know if they work or are even worth the extra price. What is a good product for cleaning a plastic shower?

I Googled "Cleaning a Plastic Shower" and got all sorts of hits - some of which are YouTube videos - which tell you how go about this and which products are best to use.
Take a couple of minutes to do this search and you will find all sorts of answers to your question.

I don't recall reading of any specific bath/shower cleaning product for either of our Keystone RV's, but our motorhome manufacturer recommended "Scrubbing Bubbles". http://www.scrubbingbubbles.com/Prod...m-cleaner.aspx
RV showers are all similar-made components, so I assume "Scrubbing Bubbles" would be safe for Keystone showers too.

I'll X2 the Scrubbing Bubbles. Works great, Been full-timing in this rig for
3.5 years now, no problems have manifested themselves...

I have also found that after cleaning applying a coat of "Gell Gloss" on all shower surfaces keeps it looking new and makes it easier to keep clean. Works well on sinks and all fixtures too. Most shower enclosers instructions contain warnings about the length of exposer to cleaners on the aluminum parts, so whatever you use be sure to rinse well. JM2¢, Hank

X2 on the GelGloss. Use it on the sinks & toilet bowl as well.

A sticker in my shower specifically mentioned (it's since fallen off) 409, or fantastik

I've used fantastik with good results.

Shower

I got scrubbing bubbles and sprayed it on and let it sit for 5 minutes. I then rinsed it off. There was some kind of white residue in the shower floor this morning. I thought I rinsed it all off. It doesn't stink anymore but the mid to lower walls still don't feel smooth. It feels like hard water scale maybe.

We clean the shower walls with vinegar a couple times a year, depends on how often we use it. It cuts through the hard water build up pretty well and isn't as harsh as some cleaners. We also use 409 or scrubbing bubbles for regular cleaning.
