PS. Corrosion Control is something I did for 13 years in the Navy.
Same problem with airliners living in Asia. Sometimes just resetting a CB resolves the issue because it cleans the contact. Having said that, I doubt the subject trailer in BC is suffering a corroded electrical system, but it could happen.

Off topic question and comment...

Are you near 100 Mile House? Interesting airport, and friendly, helpful folks.

we came home from a short camping trip yesterday, we plugged trailer into our house and everything in the trailer worked fine, today went out to get something and seen that nothing electrical was working except for the microwave (seems to work as normal) but there is nothing else that works, checked the breakers and they all seemed ok, there is power from house to trailer, and hear some kind of noise coming from the inverter? above the fridge.

anybody run across this issue before?

thanks
Peter
Problem finally solved.

After a lot of reading and talking with more knowledgeable people the consensus was that I needed to replace my converter, I ordered one (Boondocker) from Best Converter.

Got around to installing it a few days ago, only took about about 45 mins. We hooked everything up and made sure the batteries were fully charged , turned on the breakers, damn, problem still there, more testing showed I had a dead short in the wire coming from the batteries, first thing that came to mind was a mouse or some such critter chewed through the wire, Started tracing wire from batteries, had to remove the belly covering, well the problem turned out to be poor factory assembly and quality control, the wire was trapped between the frame and the floor (right where the axles are on passenger side)and it finally wore through causing the dead short. We cut the wire restrung it, now everything is working as it should. I really like the Boondocker converter, does a way better job of charging the batteries.

Cheers

Peter

Pinched wires are more common than you think. That and flexible LP lines.
