tv antenna maintenance

should I be lubricating the antenna? where at and what do I use? Thanks in advance.

The manual says once a year on the gears with silcone spray lube.

It's your antenna, you should be able to feel free to raise and lower it
anytime you want to, and yes, lubrication is always a good thing
... makes the erecting and subsequent lowering much smoother ...

I dunno about the newer ones, but the older rotating antennas, if you didn't lubricate from time to time, the O ring would get dry and allow rainwater to get into your rooftop.

I can send you the user manual for the ant if you will send me your email address in a PM. The manual describes where, what and how often to lubricate. It also has diagrams to help you.
