Winterize 330RL?
Hello. I'm trying to figure out the best way to winterize my 2021 330RL. I was hoping to find a hot water bypass but I can't seem to find it on this rig. Does anyone have this unit and/or advice on how to bypass the hot water?

Depending on your unit, the bypass will be located in close proximity to the back of the HW tank. There may be 3 bypass valves, or a single one, as my 2018 32RLOK has. I access mine by crawling into my pass thru storage and removing a panel just inside the door... Hope this helps.

Your hot water bypass is located in the convenience center. Drain the water heater and turn the bypass to "on" while pumping antifreeze through the system.
Oops...my bad. Wrong 330RL!

What 330RL do you have? From looking it appears Keystone has "330RL" designations on at least 2 models; one a 5th wheel the other not. If it's the MHC the bypass is in the convenience center as vet said.

According to the registry it's an Outback.

Keystone Outback and Keystone Laredo both have a 330RL model.
If yours is a trailer and not a fifth wheel, the bypass will be at the water heater. You may have to remove a panel or a cabinet drawer to access the water heater from the inside of the camper.
On my Keystone Outback, I had to remove a panel (4 Robertson head screws) and then I could access the back of the water heater. Mine had a single valve to flip, the other side of the H pipe configuration had a check valve. Your's may have 1, 2, or 3 valves. Locate the water heater from inside the camper, and see what need to be removed to access it form the inside.
FYI, We had this camper for 5 years. After winterizing the first time, I no longer put the screws back in the panel. It fit snug and never fell out. It was a lot easier accessing that way. In the winter when winterized, I just left that panel off.

And it sure is! I swear I looked at that earlier and it was a different trailer....

OK, I watched a couple YouTube videos for the Keystone Outback 330RL and here's what I think.
The water heater is located on the driver's side of the camper at the very front corner. It will be under the bed room closet floor.
Here's my wild guess. That floor in the closet is screwed down with probably 6 to 8 screws from the top. You'll need to dig around the fibers of the carpet to find the screws. Once all the screws are out, you'll be able to lift the floor of the closet, and underneath it will be the water heater. There, you'll find the piping system with the by-pass valve.
Yes, you'll need to empty the closet to get easy access to it. But in the event of a water heater failure, there has to be some way to access it. And this is the most logical, especially knowing how Keystone assembled some of these cabinets and closets and stuff.
Good luck! My suggestion? Once you get the floor up in the closet, install a pull handle on one end to make it easier to lift out the next time, and if you have the ability, hinge it, so that floor opens like the lid of a suit case or a steamer truck. This will make it much-much easier to access when you un-winterize and again next year when you winterize again.

Hi,
If it is the same set up as ours, it is in the closet in the bedroom. There is a floorboard that has to be removed first. We had the same problem finding ours.
Also, your RV has a pre-installed pump converter (found this out after buying one). This is next to the water pump, which is just to the left of the sofa (if you were sitting on it), in the cupboard, behind the wood panel which has to be unscrewed. Here is a good YouTube video on using a pump converter to install antifreeze https://youtu.be/2fiByjQCMnM.
Cheers!

Nice work! That is exactly where it is! Wish I could have found that YouTube video when we were searching.
Any guidance on a YouTube video on installing a hose for our outdoor shower? We too have a 2021 Keystone Outback 330rl. We looked at it the other day and it does not look like a regular hose you would screw in, in fact doesn't even look like there are threads. Of course there is nothing in the manual and I struggled to find anything online.
Thanks!

We were given a specific blue coiled hose for the outdoor shower from the dealer when we bought our unit this fall. It has a very specific end to fit in the area you are looking at. I would try contacting your dealer.... they should have provided it.

If your dealer doesn't come up with one, here is one from amazon. It's a special snapon type fitting.

Ok, I hear this question asked a lot. My manual says connect an air compressor to the city water hook up. Set the output at 30psi. Open the sewer drains. Walk around and open each faucet until no water comes out (I do it twice even though the manual says once is adequate). Hold the toilet flush valve down. I then unscrew the drain on the hot water heater and the fresh water tank one at a time. Nothing ever comes out. After that simply pour antifreeze in each drain so the 'U' doesn't freeze.

Sorry I'm late to the game. Just purchased my Outback 330RL in March. Had a walkthrough done. So basically in the bedroom closet, there is a panel on the floor. Remove the screws. There you'll find your water heater and hotwater bypass. If you see the photo, the green arrows point to the levelers that are currently set to "Summer" use. If you turn them, you'll set them to "Winterize" use. Or so the walkthrough person showed me.
