Shower leak

Our 2013 279RKSWE has leak from around the shower drain when someone is using the shower. It appears that when weight is on the floor it deflects around the drain, since the trap is fixed and solid. I have thought about removing the drain and resealing it, but I am concerned that with the flexing it will only re-appear. Any thoughts or suggestions?

When we bought our Cougar High Country 319rls last year I noticed the flexing around the shower drain and knew it would lead to the same problem you are experiencing. I had it repaired under warranty. The tech that repaired it said that Keystone does/did not put a support in the front? portion of the shower allowing it to flex excessively. They put an additional support in under warranty and we've had no issues. It made the shower floor feel much more solid.

Do you have any pictures of the repair?

The tech didn't take any pics. Our shower has a panel in the front at the bottom where you can access underneath the base. He indicated he installed it from there and it was in the front of the floor toward the access panel. If yours is like mine I'm sure you can pull the panel off and see where it needs support. I don't think it will be a big deal to cut a board to fit and secure it.
