Roof patch on slide.

We have a 2019 Keystone 330BHS. During pre-trip inspection I found small (1”x2”) roof tear on top of one of the slides. It is on the flat surface and not adjacent to any structure. Im assuming an errant branch before I closed the slides for winter. The wood below is a little grey but firm. Is self-leveling Dicor the right fix or tape.

I'd use Eternabond tape. Cut the patch at least 2" larger than the hole (in all directions). Clean the surface of the roof well, apply the patch when the temperature is above 65 or 70F and roll the patch to assure complete adhesion.

If the patch will "sit under or near" a slide seal, I would not use DICOR to seal the edges of the Eternabond tape. Doing so will cause the DICOR to stick to the slide seal. After sitting a couple of days, you may well pull the seal out with the slide when you extend it.... In other words, "they'll stick together better than you'd ever imagine" !!!!!

Since it takes "self leveling DICOR" several months to become "non-sticky", I'd not use it on the slide roof. It's an easy way to really mess up the slide seals, even after you think "there's no way that DICOR is still tacky"....
