Thinking about getting a Laredo 284 or 285 sbh

Just got back from the Hershey RV show and we are pretty sure we are going to get a Laredo 284 or 285 sbh. We like the shorter length, and the fact that I can stand up in the master bedroom. (I am 6'5").

Just curious if anyone else has one, or any Laredo 5th wheel and what they think about it!

What are you paying for it

The 284 was 36 at the RV show. We are not planning to buy for a year so it will be about 2k more we were told.

We have the 296sbh. Bought it last November and have had it out on 5 trips. The most recent and longest distance was last week, 750 miles round trip.

We have enjoyed it so far. Fits our needs about right. Not what I would consider a luxury line but definitely not bottom tier either. Had a few minor issues but I’m told that’s to be expected with most RV’s. I did change out the factory tires to a 10 ply name brand tire. Couldn’t see me towing 10k lbs. on ‘goodride’ tires. Definitely deal with a reputable dealer close to you. Should help with any warranty work. Good luck!

We have a Laredo 367BH that we bought in April. Very happy so far. Looks nice, feels solid. We feel it’s great quality for the price. Only a few minor cosmetic issues to start with. No major problems came up in the first summer of use. We would definitely recommend the brand from our current experience so far, but like what was mentioned earlier, your dealer will make or break your rv experience. Pick one close enough that you’ll return to service and that has a lot of good reviews.

We have the 325RL, in the last 2.5 years we have logged more than 400 days in it. It is holding up well with almost no issues. It will be for sale soon as the new park model has arrived.

I bought a Laredo 265SRL in May of 2016 and headed out to Alaska after one shakedown trip. The trailer performed well, needed to tighten a few screws during the trip but all appliances and systems worked well. Boondocked probably 50%. I have used it long term summer of 2017, 4K trip in 2018 and 4 months in one site this summer. I have done some mods but all systems are still working well.
