Laredo Fireplace Not Turning On
I have a Greystone fireplace in a 2017 Laredo. The camper has power but the power button on the front of the fireplace is not responding. I checked the fuse box and both the fireplace and the air conditioner are on the same fuse. The air conditioner will kick on. It’s like it isn’t plugged in or getting power. It’s built in from the manufacturer so I don’t know where to even find out how it’s plugged in or wired. Any ideas?

I've never had issues with mine or removed it but isn't it just attached via the faceplate and then plug in a receptacle behind it? It may be something as simple as the plug came out. I think we have others that have removed them so they will probably chime in.

Thanks. It all of a sudden powered up. I have no idea why but pressing the power button for the 10th time was the charm? I tried to go back and delete my original post but I couldn’t see how.

Would you like to leave it up so that someone with hands on knowledge could apprise you of how to get to the plug in the event you needed to?

FYI in ours, the fireplace is hard wired in, pull the surround (about 6 screws) and 4 screws should remove it. Ours is on a separate circuit. Do you not have a remote for the fireplace? Can't imagine having to get out of the recliner to turn it on! Parts are available at Trekwood RV Parts

Thank you everyone! My remote is not working either. I will get a new battery for it tomorrow. Today is the first day of my second season with the camper and I have a seven year extended warranty on it, so if it keeps acting up I will have it serviced. We have frost warnings here in upper Michigan tonight and I rarely get to use the fireplace so was mostly just tying to get it running for tonight and am happy camping now that it’s on!!!

Well as it turns out there really is something wrong with my fireplace. The power button must have a short to the control panel. After it finally did turn on I couldn’t turn it off. It would beep as if in response to being pressed but then not turn off. All other buttons work. This morning i got it to turn on again with a few button presses but then it would not turn off and I had to flip the breaker to power it down. I called my local RV place and I they will come out and fix it. At least I got to enjoy it a little.

Please let us know what they find. It is informational for all of us should someone else encounter the situation.

Mine won’t work now either but we are only plugged into 20 amps via power cord to my husbands shop not at a campground geared for running camper. Does anyone know if the low power level would be the reason fireplace will not come on?

I hate to say it but gray stone fireplaces seem to have a high failure rate. If it’s not under warranty, I would look at changing it out for a better brand if it fits.

Fireplace
The fireplace on our 2017 Laredo 330RL quit working the day before we traded it in on our Montana. We had the trailer for 14 months so it was out of warranty.
Last month we were in Houston to visit son and daughter-in-law and the fireplace would not turn on. It turned out to be the battery in the remote needed to be replaced.
