2020 Bullet tv mount

I've located the edges of the backing plate with magnets. How thick of metal is it and how thick are the walls? Don't want to end up punching through to the outside.

TIA

The walls are probably about 2 inches thick, and the backer plate is thin sheet metal. We use #10 self tapping 1 1/2" long.
