Work Camp

Every summer DW, Little Dog and I go to a state park 10 miles from our stick and brick, set up the camper and do some Work/Camping. The SP is 18 miles from my work and 3 miles from DW'S work. I work 6am to 2:15pm and head back to the camp site to relax, have my favorite beverage and enjoy.. DW and LD are back around 5:30...Look forward to these weeks.

Tom, hoe much "work" does the work camp require? Sounds like a good gig to me!

We've workamped a couple times, typically the 2 of us worked 20 hours a week to receive site & electric for the month, equaled $600+/- rent & $85-100 electric saved.
We are retired & had already agreed that if the workamping started feeling like a job we were done, but neither time we rarely worked up a sweat, we would do it again.

We plan on doing that, we call it Camp Host here in Michigan when we retire. For now, love the gig we do now..
