Trouble with my bedroom slide

Hi everyone; to begin with I want to thank all of you who have forgotten more about your RV than I'll ever know, I have learned so much. I just opened up our 2020 3120RL to prepare for the new season and discovered on the underside of the bedroom slide there's a sheet of flimsy plastic that has fractured throughout (photo attached). Has anyone experienced this and have a recommendation to remedy same? Sorry, couldn't figure out how to rotate the photo.

Looks as if very cold weather made the cracked material brittle. Was the slide out ever moved in and during a cold spell? A recommended fix would be to replace the fractured under layment with HDPE (high density polyurethane). A 1/8” or 3/16” thick sheet would be a permanent fix against this happening again.
