Hello forum!
Looking to purchase a 2006 Cougar TT from a family member. Hopefully will, and this forum will be useful and fun for us all. Have some questions first that I will post on other thread.

Hi there and welcome!

You will find many quite knowledgeable folks here who are happy to share when asked!

Hope the deal works out for that Cougar.

Take care!

Welcome! I have only been a member now for about a month, and the people here have been extremely helpful. Good luck with the Cougar purchase.

Has anyone mentioned you may want to do some weight calculations on your setup?
That's a 32.5' long 9500lb GVWR TT which will be 1200+/- lb tongue weight on a 1/2 ton truck with a possible payload of 1500-1600.
The payload is the tongue weight + the weight of the WDH @ 100+/- lbs + everyone/everything in/on your truck, all this subtracted from the available payload of YOUR truck posted on the yellow/white tag on your driver's door jamb that states "occupants and cargo must not exceed XXXXlbs".
Better safe than sorry!
