Xantrex vs Magnum

Good Day,

For those of you with the solarflex with inverter, which inverter was installed, Xantrex or Magnum? I am preparing to install an inverter on the installed plug “loop” and am wondering if anyone has positive or negative experience with their inverter. Specifically if you can run a Keurig on the 2000W inverter.

Yes you will be able to run a keurig on a 2000W inverter but you probably don't want to be using other high energy devices at the same time.


I have the Xantrex installed but purchased the XC (charger). I do not recommend this as you don't need the charger.

We run our Keurig from Xantrex 2000. We have 400i solar package. It draws about 120 amps from batteries while brewing as measured by the shunt so your battery bank needs to be able to provide that. I have noticed some single lithium batteries can only output 100 amps.

Thanks. I will have 2 Lion Energy 105 AH batteries, so I should be OK.
