I just purchased a new 2022 Hideout 24RBWE -
No where can I find the size that the tv opening will accommodate. Help please

Do you have the rv at your home? Best thing is to measure the space. TVs are measured by diagonal viewing area, but if you measure the space you can compare it to actual dimensions of a tv.

. We don’t have the trailer yet it’s in transit- just wanted to get one for when it arrives

I appreciate the desire to get ahead of the game, but you can buy one from Walmart same day, Amazon is about 2-3 days shipping. If it was mine, I’d wait and make sure you get what you want. Some people may want the biggest tv they can fit in tube space, some may want it small enough to fit a sound bar above or below, maybe you want to utilize the space around it. It’s hard to visualize everything until you’re standing in front of it. Just my opinion.

Type of mounting can have a big affect on screen size.

Don’t waste money on a “Smart TV”. Probably 99.9% of campground WI-FI systems won’t have the needed bandwidth.

Guess it depends on your location. We just used ours for watching movies at every park we stayed at (except near Yellowstone) over our 30 day trip.

Our bedroom television is a 32" smart TV (Vizio) that streams from my WiFi router. The living room television is a 39" Summit dumb TV that came with the camper. It has a Firestick on it for streaming. I've been a few places where the free WiFi was up to the task of streaming, in which case it's easy enough to switch the source.
I can't think of a good reason not to get WiFi capable TV in this day and age.

Unless somebody with your same model speaks up, you're going to have to wait until you can measure the hole yourself. Alternatively, you could call the dealer and ask someone to give you the diagonal measurement of the hole.

I would encourage you to wait until you can take the measurements. There are too many variables in an RV build that might change for whatever reason on a particular trailer. Once you have it in hand it won't take much time to get a TV and get it installed.....and it will fit.

Personally I would tell the missus that a 70" flat screen would be about right and when it doesn't fit, just haul it into the man cave. 32" seems about right in a camper where you are sitting near or across from the television but until you get into your camper with a measuring tape, suggest you hold off on that trip to Wallys or go with my initial suggestion.
