New to Keystone

Hi All.
My wife, Sue and I just purchased a 2021 Residence 40’Loft. We are SO excited. We have been seasonal campers at White Pines Campsites in CT for the last 6 years in a 1997 Skyline 397 Nomad Park Model. It has worked great for the last several years, but now that our son is 14 he needs his own space. We looked at several loft models over the last couple of years and last week I saw the Residence. My wife instantly fell in love with it. The only issue was, it isn’t available in our area. I found it at Hitch RV in Berlin NJ, (a 3 hr drive) We looked at the Retreat 39loft locally but the Residence felt so much more like home. We hope to take delivery in early May.

A big shout out to Johnny Black our sale rep at Hitch RV. Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

Thanks for having the site, I’m looking forward to a lot of learning this year.

Hey bud, we just got a 401 loft as well. Just curious as to how your bedroom AC works? Ours doesn’t cool off but the rest of the trailer is cold. Wanting to know if it’s an issue we can fix or If it manufactured problem. TIA

Hey JM..
Our Camper has been fantastic. We have not had any issues yet with it. At our site we only have 30 amp service so we are not able to run both A/C's at the same time. However once, I did turn on the bedroom A/C not realizing my wife had the Main A/C set to a higher temp. It was a minor fix resetting the circuits.
Our son is in the loft and it is a too loud for him to sleep up there with it on, so an hour before bed we cool it down and then leave the main A/C on all night.
It's worked for us.
I’d look at the vents and rotate them for better flow direction. Other than that, give a shout to the dealer.
Good luck and enjoy..
