Slide roof replacement cost

Hi. Has anyone had there slide room roof replaced and what was the cost? Here is my situation, while cleaning my slide roof and finally figuring out the wrinkle/bubble in the middle of my roof (gearbox leak), I noticed at the edge were the roofing goes over the sidewall has two 1/2" cracks in it. Knowing Keystone's roof warranty was expired, I emailed Alpha systems a couple of pictures and explained the problem. Within a few days I heard back from Alpha, they presented me with 2 options. 1 replace the entire roof which they would pay $840 plus supply materials or 2 pay up to $500 plus supply materials to have both edged repaired/resealed(?). My unit is a 2018 29BHS bought new in 2017, I believe Alpha pays 80% at 3 years. My questions are does anyone know how much a 12' slide would cost to replace? I wouldn't mind paying some out of pocket for a better fix, or would having the edges repaired be adequate? Thanks for any input!
