over the top slide seal
Hello we have a 2012 Keystone Hornet 39FDEN model destination trailer. The top seal /gasket on the dining living room has become weather checked and torn. How or where do we go about finding this material. Also what is it called exactly so I know what to get. Peg
PS sorry the one photo should be rotated

This is what I used to replace the seal I think you are showing in the second picture. It looked like a direct replacement. There are small screws in the tracks that need to be removed to pull out the old seal. I sprayed the track with silicone lube and it made installing fairly easy.

I checked out the link you sent. So does the circular piece unroll then and lay flat on top of the slide out?

This just reminded me to spray conditioner on all my seals. It’s been 4 months since my last application.

No the circular tube seal is not correct for your application.
Here is the correct one you are looking for. Easy installation... a screw holds it in place at each end... remove each screw and pull the old seal down & and off. The new seal... slide up into place and replace the two screws in place.

This one looks like it has a groove in the top of it. It does not appear ours does. Would one put the screw on the inside then to allow the water to run out the end of it?

After looking at the picture again I see you are looking at replacing the primary seal, I thought the second picture was of the secondary real. There are several seals used for this application. If it was me I would disassemble just enough to take a picture of the end of the seal them match it up to what you need to purchase. Here is an example of some of the seals on the market that might work, yet it is hard to tell which one you will need with the pictures you provided.

I replaced the slide seals on the side of my slides. I got them from Trekwood RV Parts. They will have the seal you need for your Keystone. Go to their website and you can find the seal for you by drilling down your RV make, model etc.

To whom are you posing this question?
Did you see the link I posted for you of the proper slide seal?

The first link gave me something different. It had a bulb shape to it. This one is the correct one! Thank you so much for your help! Peg
