Good morning and thank you for the Birthday wishes in my email, Keystone RV Forums.
We are permanent residents of our Montana High Country, 318RE. We are plumbed into a septic system but don't leave our black water open. We drain it when necessary so solids don't get stuck in the system.
This morning, hubby was using the washroom and I was in the living room when we both heard a noise (explosion?) like something dropping in the basement or someone hitting our home (not possible where we are) or something blowing up (not loud). The place shook. We went outside to see sewer seeping out of the bottom of the basement under the bathroom. Hubby took the panel off and got the remainder of the sewer out (two small buckets full) and inspected for damage. He can't see anything wrong. We even held the flusher down for some time to allow a lot of water to go through the system and it all went exactly where it should.
It's been warm here. I'm wondering if it somehow 'burped' and overflowed somewhere but nothing came back up the toilet bowl which seems the least point of resistance.
Called the RV Tech from another dealership than ours (ours is closed today) and he couldn't put his finger on it either.
Anyone ever experience anything like this?
