Welcome to the forum. With your screen name, I'd urge you NOT to kickit <wink>

I think you need to turn on the remote control and turn off the light, then it will work with the switch.

You won't find schematics, or wiring diagrams or plumbing diagrams or even structural drawings on any Keystone product. It's been that way for years and probalby won't change in our lifetime.... It's just the way Keystone does things <sigh>

Again, welcome

That was a good idea to try. I do have the remote and it does have a toggle light button that I assume does the landing gear lights. But it did not do anything and light remains on with switch off.

When the lights are turned on with the remote (maybe the dealer did it???) the toggle switch will not operate the lights. ONLY the remote will turn them off again.

You may be able to unplug shore power and disconnect the battery, let the RV sit for a few minutes. That will reset the remote control box located inside the battery compartment (it's mounted to the front wall of that compartment). Once the remote control box is reset, the light switch may function.

Actually, there are two circuits that control the docking lights. One is the light switch mounted on the front of the RV and the remote. The manual switch will normally work, but the remote control "over rides" the manual switch and once the remote activates the light circuit, the manual switch is completely out of the circuit and ceases to function.

The only way to turn it off is to either remove it and cut the wires, turn it off with the remote or reset the remote control box by removing the 12 volts from the shore power by unplugging the RV and also removing the RV battery for a period of time.
